Following closing of the reverse vesting transaction on June 19, 2026, the purchaser (a Sobeys/Empire affiliate) has taken over Mayrand's four store locations and assumed related leases and contracts, continuing operations and employment for all employees, while the residual debtor (9565-0909 Québec inc.) continues the claims process and winds down remaining obligations.
