Eight homeowners, many of them elderly, allege that mortgages EquityLine SPV held on their homes were procured through fraud. One homeowner's instruments were found forged and deleted from title; the other seven claims fall under a consent protocol with mandatory mediation. On July 24 the receiver was appointed over the general partner that holds legal title to some of them.
