Calgary Oil & Gas Syndicate Group Ltd. was the subject of an interim receivership under section 47 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act in the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, court file 2101-00814. An unaudited Schedule of Creditors as at February 11, 2021, prepared as reflected by Calgary Oil and Gas Group, listed 176 creditor rows totalling $41,065,148.55 in Canadian dollars, without dividing claims between secured and unsecured classes. Crown Capital Partners Inc. was by far the largest claimant at $29,638,622.66, followed by Trican Well Service Ltd. at $863,222.98, Cathedral Energy Services at $839,773.61 and Savanna Drilling Corp. at $585,379.43. The balance was overwhelmingly oilfield service, trucking and rental suppliers, alongside a Receiver General for Canada claim of $13,469 and an O'Chiese First Nation claim of $785.
