OverviewSummary updated

Dino Taurasi was adjudged bankrupt by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (in Bankruptcy and Insolvency) on December 16, 2025, on an application filed July 30, 2025 by KingSett Mortgage Corporation, with KSV Restructuring Inc. as trustee in bankruptcy. His sworn Statement of Affairs discloses minimal assets, $16 in a National Bank of Canada account, against unsecured claims totalling approximately $303 million, most arising from guarantees and director's liabilities for debts of Stateview Group entities in receivership. The largest claims listed are Tarion Warranty Corporation at approximately $177.2 million, MCO Management Inc. and Toronto-Dominion Bank at approximately $37.5 million each, KingSett and Meridian Credit Union Ltd. at approximately $21 million each, and the Canada Revenue Agency at approximately $5.7 million. The trustee is reviewing allegations of improper payments and unaccounted assets, and unless material undisclosed assets are found, no distribution to unsecured creditors is expected. KingSett has provided the trustee $50,000 as security for fees and costs.

Stateview Homes: the last property unsold, and two discharges opposed

Three years after its first offer deadline, Stateview's Stouffville land is still unsold; on August 6 the court let the receiver borrow up to $1 million ahead of the five mortgages on it. In the bankruptcies of the group's principals, Carlo and Dino Taurasi, the trustee has given notice it intends to oppose both discharges.

Each row is one filing's statement, copied as it reads and never computed. "Estimated" is the officer's forecast; "Under the plan" is the plan's or proposal's own term; "Final" is a declared or paid distribution; a row with no chip states no footing. A range is the two numbers stated; "of proven claims" is the document's own denominator.
