Nemaska Lithium Inc. and its affiliates Nemaska Lithium Shawinigan Transformation Inc., Nemaska Lithium P1P Inc., Nemaska Lithium Whabouchi Mine Inc. and Nemaska Lithium Innovation Inc. have been under CCAA protection in the Superior Court of Québec since December 23, 2019, and the proceedings remain active. A listing of creditors records secured claims of CAD 97,620,000 owing to Orion Resource Partners (USA) LP, CAD 12,000,000 to Johnson Matthey Battery Materials, CAD 9,440,964.36 to Komatsu International (Canada) Inc. and CAD 362,292.25 to Orion Mine Finance Fund II LP. The largest unsecured claims are CAD 16,791,395 held by The Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee)/Cree Nation Government, CAD 3,328,409.02 by Hatch, CAD 3,169,076.47 by Nemaska Eenou J.V. and CAD 2,552,992.55 by Bird Civil et Mines Ltée, alongside several hundred smaller supplier and contractor claims.

The estate is winding down toward final distribution: the claims register is now final following settlements with Cantore, JMBM and Metso, and the Monitor plans an interim distribution to unsecured creditors (approximately 12% of claims) in October 2025, pending a further stay extension to December 19, 2025.
