Enerstar Petroleum Corp.

Enerstar Petroleum Corp. filed a notice of intention to make a proposal under section 50.4 of the BIA on March 25, 2024, in Alberta, with Grant Thornton Limited as Proposal Trustee. The proceedings are active and are being administered alongside Taber Water Disposal Inc. An April 22, 2024 order granted an administration charge of up to $500,000 over the property of both companies, securing the fees and costs of the Proposal Trustee, its independent counsel and counsel to the companies. A May 2, 2024 order granted Luxur Resources Inc., as Interim Lender, a second-priority Interim Lender's Charge of $400,000 and authorized borrowings of up to $300,000; those amounts were increased to $500,000 and $400,000 respectively on June 7, 2024. Luxur is also the purchaser under the Transaction, as a related and interested party.
