CURO Group's Ontario recognition proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, commenced July 19, 2024, are closed. The Canadian Debtors, CURO Canada Corp. and LendDirect Corp., carried court-ordered charges over their property: an Administration Charge of up to USD$1,000,000 for Canadian counsel to the foreign representative and the Canadian Debtors, the Information Officer and its counsel, ranking first; Securitization Charges granted under a Supplemental Order dated March 26, 2024 for the collateral agents under the Canada SPV I and SPV II facilities, ranking second and pari passu; and a D&O Charge of up to CAD$11.1 million ranking third. At the petition date, USD$252,000,000 was outstanding under the Canada SPV I warehouse facility and USD$80,000,000 under SPV II, each borrowed by non-debtor receivables partnerships. The Information Officer's first report put accrued vacation pay at CAD$1.4 million and CRA income tax at USD$9.5 million.
