Coast Automotive Group Inc. and the related Coast Auto Group entities — Coast North Vancouver Auto Sales Inc., Coast Auto Drayton Inc. and 2461765 Alberta Ltd. — have been under CCAA protection since July 16, 2025, with an initial stay expiring July 26, 2025. Bank of Montreal, the group's only source of secured financing, was owed $36,227,809.66 as at July 9, 2025 plus accruing interest, legal and professional fees and costs, secured by first-ranking general security over the borrower entities' present and after-acquired property, unlimited guarantees, and a $5,750,000 mortgage on the Drayton Valley premises. A sale process carried a phase one deadline of September 5, 2025 and a bid deadline of September 26, 2025.
