Alter NRG Corp.

Alter NRG Corp. was placed in court-appointed receivership under s. 243 of the BIA in Alberta, Court of Queen's Bench file 2101-02279, on the application of three judgment creditors — Alex Gorodetsky, Bruce Leonard and Ken Willis — who obtained judgment against Alter for $1,125,897.00 on May 30, 2019 and registered a Writ of Enforcement in the Personal Property Registry. The Receiver's Form 87 notice and statement, dated May 14, 2021, states that Alter has no secured creditors and describes the Property as including the intellectual property and patents related to its plasma gasification technology; the Receiver was then gathering information on the property to evaluate next steps toward realization. The creditor list filed with it is entirely unsecured, led by Richard Fish at $1,323,473.19 and Danny Hay at $702,102.35, with the three applicants listed at $350,287.44, $339,967.96 and $366,826.88.
