World Wide Carriers Ltd. et al. filed for protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) on March 17, 2025. An unaudited list of creditors submitted by the applicants as at March 25, 2025 sets out claims against World Wide Carriers Inc. and related entities including 2029037 Ontario Inc., JCD Cartage Inc., 90 Gaylord Road Holdings Inc. and 200 Edward Street Holdings Inc. The list spans hundreds of trade creditors, equipment and vehicle financiers, tax authorities, individuals and affiliated companies, with amounts ranging from nominal placeholder entries to claims exceeding $7.5 million owed by 2029037 Ontario Inc. to Bank of Montreal.
