Voyager Retirement II Genpar Inc., Voyager Retirement II LP, Voyager Retirement III Genpar Inc. and Voyager Retirement III LP have been under court-appointed receivership since 27 August 2021, with MNP Ltd. acting as Receiver on the application of Conexus Credit Union 2006. The appointment was made under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, section 65(1) of The Queen's Bench Act, 1998 and section 64(8) of The Personal Property Security Act, 1993, in the Court of King's Bench for Saskatchewan under QB No. 880 of 2021. For Voyager Retirement II LP and Voyager Retirement II Genpar Inc., the companies' books showed real property valued at $8,940,000 as at 10 November 2021, against secured claims totalling approximately $7,674,820 and unsecured claims of $194,407.70. Conexus is the largest secured creditor at $6,319,561, followed by the Town of Tisdale at $730,259 and Caleb Management Ltd. at $625,000. The receivership remains active.
The officer filed report no. First Report. The Voyager II and Voyager III condominium/retirement properties in Tisdale and Melville continue to operate with Caleb Management providing property management and Lifestyle Services on a month-to-month basis; the Receiver conducted an extensive marketing and sales process and has executed a Purchase Agreement (subject to court approval) to sell the properties en bloc to Tule Elk Investments Ltd.
