Tagg Group

Tagg Group entered bankruptcy proceedings under the BIA on October 24, 2025. The sworn Statement of Affairs for 975866 Ontario Limited, also known as Tagg Industries and The Architectural Glass Group, reports assets of $210,002.00 against liabilities of $34,882,626.05 as at the date of bankruptcy, of which $34,672,622.05 is unsecured, leaving a deficiency of $34,672,624.05. A separate Statement of Affairs for Krisro Metal Industries Corp. shows assets of $435,001 and liabilities of $39,794,801. National Bank of Canada, holder of a blanket PPSA registration over Krisro's property, issued a Notice of Intention to Enforce Security before the bankruptcy and, the notice period having expired, applied to appoint MNP as receiver over Krisro, TAGG, M & G Steel, Tagg Holdings Inc., M & G Holdings and Glass Mechanics Inc., returnable November 12, 2025. The Trustee has sought an independent legal opinion on the validity and enforceability of that security, which is pending.
