Scollard Energy Ltd.

Scollard Energy Ltd. was placed in court-appointed receivership on September 1, 2017, under BIA s. 243 and provincial Judicature Act jurisdiction, in the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta at file no. 1701-11639. The Receiver's Notice and Statement put the Alberta oil and gas company's assets at $51,296,000 on a book-value basis, taken from unaudited financial statements as at June 30, 2017 and neither audited nor verified by the Receiver, against liabilities of $18,544,000. National Bank of Canada was reported as the sole secured creditor, owed $16,773,000; unsecured claims of $1,771,000 were listed, itemized at $1,770,971.19 in the Schedule A creditor listing. The largest unsecured claim was Pengrowth Energy Corporation's, at $302,898.42, followed by the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 at $113,252.62 and the Alberta Energy Regulator at $108,233.63. The receivership is closed.
