RBD Construction Ltd.

RBD Construction Ltd., an Alberta construction company, was placed in court-appointed receivership on July 27, 2021 under BIA s. 243 and provincial Judicature Act authority, on the application of secured creditor RBC Royal Bank. The receiver took possession of the company's assets on July 20, 2021. A Schedule "A" list of assets as at July 26, 2021 reported business assets, motor vehicles and accounts receivable totalling $722,215.95, with net realizable and realized values shown as 0.00 for every item at that date. Secured claims reported on the Schedule to Form 87 totalled $1,271,182.86, including an RBC facility of $1,000,216.44 among several RBC balances, $61,420.64 to Ford Credit Canada, unquantified claims by the Business Development Bank of Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency, On Deck Capital and TDF Group Inc., and small individual claims.
