Razar Contracting Services Ltd. has been in court-appointed receivership under BIA s. 243 since July 6, 2023, before the King's Bench in Manitoba under file CI23-01-40469, and the proceeding remains active. Bank of Montreal, identified as the senior secured lender to Razar, 5268703 Manitoba Ltd. and Robert Cory and Marla Jean Nicholson, has registered general security over Razar's equipment, inventory, receivables and intangibles, with a payout statement totalling $4,636,129.41 as at March 20, 2023. Service Canada holds a WEPPA charge of $12,160 over Razar's current assets ranking ahead of other secured creditors. Guarantee Company of North America and Northbridge General Insurance Corporation hold overlapping PPSA registrations, and a security opinion from the Receiver's counsel is pending. Equipment subject to Mercado Capital and Wells Fargo registrations was included in an Invitation for Offers. An order was made December 18, 2024, and claims were required by January 15, 2025.
