Global Food Mart Inc.

Global Food Mart Inc. has been in court-appointed receivership in Ontario since August 7, 2026, when MNP Ltd. became receiver of the company's property under subsections 245 and 246(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. The appointment was made pursuant to a General Security Agreement held by the Bank of Montreal, which is owed an estimated $585,000. The property subject to the receivership, as described in the Notice and Statement of Receiver, consists of cash on hand of $38,867; the Receiver's stated plan is to collect that cash and distribute the funds according to the priority of claims.
