Galloway Construction Group Ltd. has been under court-appointed receivership in Alberta since June 10, 2019, when the Court of King's Bench of Alberta appointed MNP Ltd. as Receiver and Manager on the application of W. Pidhirney Holdings Ltd. under section 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, section 13(2) of the Judicature Act, section 99(a) of the Business Corporations Act and section 65(7) of the Personal Property Security Act. The applicant is a related party: director and shareholder Wayne Pidhirney holds 50% of Galloway. Payout statements dated January 14, 2020 put Roynat Inc. at approximately $4,964,530 plus a $925.30 per diem, and W. Pidhirney Holdings at approximately $6,097,863 plus costs with a $2,574.84 per diem, their respective charges over the Head Office property and Lots and over all present and after-acquired property ranked by subordination agreement. Caterpillar Financial Services Limited and Wells Fargo have advised the Receiver they are paid in full. The receivership remains active.
