Fitz Flooring Ltd., an Alberta company, was placed in court-appointed receivership on August 12, 2016 under BIA s. 243 and provincial Judicature Act authority, on the application of Bank of Montreal, which had filed a statement of claim at the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta on August 10, 2016 and claimed $495,469 secured by registrations on the Alberta Personal Property Registry.
