Financial Transport Inc. and five related companies — Freightliner of Kingston Inc., Jain Truck Lease Ltd., Global Transport Insurance Brokers Inc., 6181732 Canada Inc. and 2105810 Ontario Inc. — have been in court-appointed receivership since February 4, 2010, when the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, on Bank of Montreal's application, appointed Deloitte & Touche Inc. receiver under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act (file CV-10-8556-00CL). The receiver's creditor listings put Bank of Montreal's secured claims at $6,183,092 against Financial Transport, $1,881,412 against 6181732 Canada, $1,733,800 against Freightliner of Kingston, $181,865 against Global Transport, $129,400 against 2105810 Ontario and $91,100 against Jain Truck Lease, with Business Development Bank of Canada secured for $3,300,000 against Freightliner of Kingston. The receivership remains active.
