English Lane Homes Inc.

English Lane Homes Inc. has been in court-appointed receivership since March 13, 2026, when the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) appointed KSV Restructuring Inc. as receiver and manager on the application of Caisse Desjardins Ontario Credit Union Inc., under subsection 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act. The order stayed proceedings and secured the Receiver and its counsel by a first charge on the Property, with a further $500,000 charge for the Receiver's borrowings from the applicant. In its First Report, dated May 13, 2026, the Receiver reported that it had run an RFP to select a realtor and negotiated a listing agreement with JLL for the Real Property. The proceeding is active under court file CL-26-00000038-0000.
