Crowfoot Land & Livestock Corporation, with James C. Clark and Robin E. Clark, remains subject to active insolvency proceedings in Alberta. Royal Bank of Canada holds a mortgage over the Crowfoot lands (SW-7-22-19-W4M) and over certain lands owned by James Cameron Clark, being the NE Quarter and SE Quarter of Section 2, Township 22, Range 4, W4M; counsel was asked to opine that RBC's security is valid and enforceable over all of Crowfoot's assets except the NW and SW Quarters. The Clark family has sought refinancing to pay out RBC. National Leasing is owed approximately $69,000 under a lease of bins, items 36-39 and 47, and as of an affidavit dated October 8, 2020, auction sale proceeds were expected to fall short of that amount.
