Cerpro Energy Services Inc. is in court-appointed receivership. On July 24, 2009, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta appointed Ernst & Young Inc. as receiver and manager on the application of HSBC Bank Canada, under section 13(2) of the Judicature Act, section 99(a) of the Business Corporations Act and section 65(7) of the Personal Property Security Act (court file 0901-11228). As at July 27, 2009, the company reported assets of CAD 24,137,526 against liabilities of CAD 21,559,421.37. HSBC's secured claim was CAD 10,439,594.87, ahead of John Deere Credit Inc. at CAD 1,923,768.05 and GE Canada Equipment Financing at CAD 997,454.44. The receivership is active.
On July 24, 2009, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta granted the order appointing Ernst & Young Inc. as receiver and manager of Cerpro Energy Services Inc.
