Cameron Construction Services Ltd. and Cameron Venture Group Inc. were placed in receivership on November 14, 2013 by Order of Justice Stevens of the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta at Calgary, on the application of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, with Deloitte Restructuring Inc. appointed receiver over both debtors under Court File No. 1301-13468. The receiver's Form 87 notice of November 21, 2013, covering Cameron Venture Group Inc. alone, reported book assets of $3,127,306 — including net capital assets of $2,558,213, $448,700 due from a related party and $119,793 in accounts receivable — while cautioning that net realizable value would be significantly lower. Ten creditors were listed as holding security, of which three had stated amounts totalling $47,288: Canadian Western Bank at $23,600, Wetaskawin Co-op at $19,800 and the Rural Municipality of Estevan at $3,888.
