The First Bezeau Affidavit of 6 August 2026 reports $7.9 million owing to the Business Development Bank of Canada, with discussions continuing on refinancing existing credit facilities, alongside $4.7 million of members' loan capital, $4.4 million to the Atlantic Fisheries Fund, $2.9 million to lobster and snow crab suppliers, $2.7 million to the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and $2.3 million to other trade suppliers. A USD $14.1 million advance payable to WhiteCap International Seafood Exporters Inc. as at 30 June 2026 is disputed, WhiteCap asserting that title to product passed on advance while the co-operative maintains title remains with it until sale to third parties.
