AM PM Lloydminster Ltd. has been in court-appointed receivership since February 29, 2024, when the Court of King's Bench of Alberta appointed Ernst & Young Inc. as receiver on the application of Royal Bank of Canada under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, in Court File No. 2403-02472. On taking possession, the receiver valued the property in the estate at $23,400.75, comprising equipment estimated at $20,000.00, inventory estimated at $2,500.00, cash seized of $899.75, and building and land carried at a $1.00 placeholder pending ascertainment of value. RBC is stated to have been owed approximately $1.085 million as at the appointment. The claims register lists unsecured creditors including the Canada Revenue Agency, Parkland Corporation, Core-Mark International Ltd., the City of Lloydminster, the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission, Workers' Compensation Board - Alberta, Xoom Energy ONT, ULC, and Great North Foods Inc. at $1,131.82; none has filed a proof of claim. The receivership remains active.
