5993092 Manitoba Ltd. (formerly Rondex Limited) and eight related companies remain in court-appointed receivership in Manitoba, where Grant Thornton Limited has served as receiver and manager since April 3, 2025. The Court of King's Bench at Winnipeg (file CI 25-01-51058) made the appointment on the application of The Bank of Nova Scotia and Roynat Inc. under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 55(1) of The Court of King's Bench Act, granting a stay and charges securing the Receiver's fees and up to $500,000 in borrowings. The Receiver has auctioned inventory, marketed three Dexron commercial properties, and on February 4, 2026 obtained approval of a sale to 10218545 Manitoba Ltd. and OZS Holdings Inc. It is now pursuing rent arrears from a former tenant. A further order was granted on March 3, 2026.
Supported the Receiver's motion to compel 2680440 Alberta Inc. (Legacy Auto Supply) to pay rent arrears, additional rent, expenses and costs following termination of the Isabel Street lease on February 4, 2026.
