2643111 Alberta Ltd., together with Wabamun Checkpoint Inc., Hemkund Developments Ltd. and SRAD Retail Ltd., were placed in court-appointed receivership in Alberta on May 8, 2025 under section 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and provincial Judicature Act authority. At the entity level for SRAD Retail Ltd., the Receiver reported inventory, equipment, and land and building values as to be determined, saying the principal did not provide financial information and that the reliability of the figures was unconfirmed as at May 1, 2025. Secured claims against SRAD reported in the Receiver's Notice total $4,610,156: approximately $3,835,230 to Connect First and Servus Credit Union Ltd., $774,926 to Northern Lights under a construction lien, and $68,000 to Shell Canada Limited. A Canada Revenue Agency claim remains to be determined, the Receiver being unable to obtain the company's accounting records. The proceeding is recorded as closed.
