(Kopala Environmental Services) has been under the receivership of MNP Ltd. since March 29, 2018, when the Court of King's Bench of Alberta granted the appointment on the application of The Toronto Dominion Bank under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, section 13(2) of the Judicature Act and section 65(7) of the Personal Property Security Act, in court file 1803 05959. On a consolidated basis with related entities 1287839 Alberta Ltd., Pricope Matwychuk Holdings Ltd., Fehr Quality Contracting Inc. and 101279740 Saskatchewan Ltd., internal statements put assets at approximately $10,087,240 as at the appointment date: real property $5,460,610, equipment and machinery $3,126,630, and accounts receivable of $1,500,000 whose collectability the Receiver has not yet ascertained. Toronto Dominion Bank was owed an estimated $4,829,030 and the Business Development Bank of Canada $5,131,960. The Receiver's claims register of March 30, 2018 records unsecured claims led by Lakeland Co-op at $346,409.02, Cougar Fuels Ltd. at $230,167.78 and MJ's Water Hauling Co. Ltd. at $194,866.99. The receivership remains active.
