The purpose of this One-Hundred and Sixth Report of the Monitor (the “One-Hundred and Sixth Report”) is: (a) to provide an overview of that certain Agreement Settling EMEA Canadian Claims and Related Claims dated July 9, 2014, among the Canadian Debtors, the Monitor, the Directors and Officers, the EMEA Debtors, the Joint Administrators, the EMEA Non-Filed Entities, Nortel Networks Optical Components Limited (“NNOCL”), the NNOCL Liquidator, NNSA as under the control of the French Liquidator, NTF and the French Liquidator (the “Settlement Agreement”); (b) to support the Monitor and Canadian Debtors’ motion seeking approval of the Settlement Agreement; and (c) to recommend approval of the Settlement Agreement by this Court
