The purpose of this One Hundred and Thirtieth Report of the Monitor (“ One Hundred and Thirtieth Report ”) is to provide information in respect of the Monitor and Canadian Debtors’ motion seeking approval: (i) to enter into a Canadian Distribution Escrow Agreement (the “ Canadian Distribution Escrow Agreement ”) among, inter alia , NNC, NNL, NNI, NNUK, NNSA, the Monitor, the Committee and Royal Trust Corporation of Canada as Canadian distribution agent (the “ Canadian Distribution Agent ”); and (ii) to transfer up to $1.2 billion of the approximately $7.3 billion of sale proceeds arising from the Nortel business unit and patent portfolio divestitures (the “ Sale Proceeds ”) held by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (the “ U.S. Distribution Agent ”) to the Canadian Distribution Agent so that such Sale Proceeds can be converted from U.S. dollars to Canadian dollars, all in furtherance of the settlements contemplated by the Settlement and Support Agreement
