The Plumb-Line Group of Companies has been in bankruptcy under the BIA since November 10, 2014, with Deloitte Restructuring Inc. acting as trustee in bankruptcy across six related estate files in the Court of King's Bench of Alberta. The proceedings remain active. Secured claims on List B totalled $7,354,005.00, dominated by a $6,800,000.00 claim of Longwood Asset Management secured on vehicles, equipment and tools valued at $494,000.00, leaving $6,306,000.00 of that claim unsecured. Six further secured creditors, among them AXA Canada, BMO Financial Group, PMO Bank, Elemental Financial Corporation, Jevco Insurance and Shaw GMC, were each listed at a nominal $1.00.

The Trustee has liquidated assets and collected receivables, and is seeking court approval of the Chandos and Lockerbie-Intact settlements and of further distributions to pension and health fund priority claimants and to PNC.
