The Midas Investment Corporation has been under court-appointed receivership since April 6, 2021, when the Ontario Superior Court of Justice appointed Rosen Goldberg Inc. as receiver and manager under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act. The applicants were Cosa Nova Fashions Ltd., B & M Handelman Investments Limited, Comfort Capital Inc., 693651 Ontario Ltd., E. Manson Investments Limited, Natme Holdings Ltd., Francie Storm, Barsky Investments Ltd., Stephen Handelman, Rosewill Investment Corporation, Thomas Bock and The Bank of Nova Scotia Trust Company. The receivership is carried on the Commercial List in court file CV-21-00656398-00CL and remains active.
