Stace Immo Inc. has been in court-appointed receivership since January 30, 2024, when the Superior Court of Québec appointed MNP Ltée. as séquestre on the application of Banque de Développement du Canada under article 243 de la Loi sur la faillite et l'insolvabilité, in file 200-11-029054-247. The estate consists of a single real property, the building and land at 300, rue du Port in Matane, carried at $16,500,000 on a Colliers International appraisal dated August 10, 2021. BDC holds security over that property for $5,293,625.68 as of February 7, 2024; BMO is listed as a secured creditor for a nominal $1.00. Amounts owed to the Agence du revenu du Canada and Agence du revenu du Québec, claimed as deemed trusts, remain to be determined. Trade and utility claims include Énergies Sonic inc. at $34,915.44, Hydro-Québec at $18,528.84, Entreprise d'Électricité JMN inc at $18,056.16, Terexcavation at $8,623.12 and Construction STB at $7,055.47. The receivership remains active.
