Sigma Molders 2020 Inc.

Sigma Molders 2020 Inc. has been under court-appointed receivership in Ontario since August 15, 2025, under section 243 of the BIA and provincial Judicature Act authority, and the proceeding remains active. The receivership follows a notice of intention to enforce security and formal demand served by The Toronto-Dominion Bank on May 29, 2025; TD's statement of indebtedness put the balance at $507,224.45 as at August 6, 2025, secured by a September 29, 2020 general security agreement over all present and after-acquired personal property and supported by an unlimited personal guarantee from director Anil Anand. Receiver's counsel, Aird & Berlis LLP, has confirmed that Concentra Equipment Finance, now Bennington Financial Corp., holds a properly perfected purchase-money security interest in the Toshiba electric injection moulding machine, with a buyout price of approximately $118,000 excluding sales tax. The Canada Revenue Agency has commenced a trust examination of the company's payroll and sales tax accounts; as of the First Report it had issued no assessment or claim.
