Restoration Co. Inc. has been under court-appointed receivership in Ontario since May 6, 2025, when the Ontario Superior Court of Justice appointed MNP Ltd. as receiver on the application of Royal Bank of Canada under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act (court file CV-25-00099388-0000). The receiver took possession on May 7, 2025, at which date RBC was owed $2,222,405 under a general security agreement dated July 24, 2019 and a security agreement dated July 7, 2022. Also secured were a CRA deemed trust claim of $32,237, Capital Truck Sales at $4,339, and equipment and vehicle financiers registered under the PPSA, including Addison Leasing, Ford Credit Canada Limited, Ottawa Motor Sales o/a Donnelly Ford Lincoln and De Lage Landen Financial Services Canada Inc. The receiver has reported other creditors headed by Herc Rentals at $109,101 and Abatement Technologies at $102,560. The receivership remains active.
