Northview Collision Inc. and 2565496 Ontario Inc. have been in court-appointed receivership in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice since February 21, 2019, under BIA s. 243 and provincial Judicature Act authority; the proceeding is closed. The Receiver's shortfall calculation used RBC indebtedness of 2565496 Ontario Inc. of $858,014 as at an April 5, 2019 email, subject to caveats, with separate RBC enforcement costs of $52,067 noted. A $900,000 private mortgage commitment from clients of Batcher, Wasserman, secured by a proposed first mortgage on 18 Cosentino Drive, Toronto and a second mortgage on 12 Deer Ridge Rd, Uxbridge, had not closed; TD holds the existing first mortgage on the Uxbridge property, with no more than $829,000 stated as owing. Reported claims include CRA HST of $32,309.92 against Northview, wage arrears of $25,712.73 and $24,613.42, and municipal taxes of $21,328.70 and $5,791.19. The Receiver could not quantify source deduction liabilities for either debtor.
