Nomodic

Nomodic has been in bankruptcy since October 6, 2023, when FTI Consulting Canada Inc. was appointed Trustee of the Nomodic Companies on an application by ATB Financial under sections 42, 43, 183(1)(d), 187(3) and 192(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. The proceedings are before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta in Bankruptcy and Insolvency at Calgary under court file numbers 25-2996918, 25-2997457 and 25-2997541, covering three bankrupt entities in a joint filing. The Statement of Affairs for one of them, Aithra Projects Inc., reports total assets of $0.01 against total liabilities of $1,001.01 as at the bankruptcy date, a stated deficiency of $1,001.00, with secured claims against cash on hand of $1,428,746.34 by ATB Financial, $1,000,000.00 by the Business Development Bank of Canada and $1.00 by Tokio Marine Canada Ltd. The matter remains active.
