Minty's Marine Service Inc. has been under court-appointed receivership in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice since December 1, 2023, under s. 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and provincial Judicature Act authority, in court file FC-22-1207. The receiver has reported assets taken into its possession with a net book value of $1,315,706 as at November 13, 2023, drawn from the debtor's most recent available books and records. No consolidated liability figure has been reported; secured and unsecured amounts are listed separately. Metis Voyageur Development Fund Inc. is identified as holding or possibly holding security on the debtor's property for $685,680. Unsecured claims listed by the receiver include Bank of Nova Scotia at $121,000 and a further $60,000 on a CEBA loan, Michelle Harding and Andy Duquette at $91,277.44 each, Canada Revenue Agency at $55,538 and American Express at $44,656.06.
