Millennium Golden Jiachen Hotel Holdings Ltd. and 4345118 Canada Inc. have been under court-appointed receivership in the Superior Court of Québec since November 3, 2025, when the Receiver took possession of property with a combined book value of $47,597,891. La Caisse Desjardins de Brossard, senior secured lender and interim lender under approved interim financing of $6,380,000, was owed $17,913,636.48 as at July 15, 2026 across three term loans and the interim credit line; the Receiver has asked the Court to authorize distribution of Net Proceeds to Desjardins in full repayment. The Receiver selected Westmont's bid, which assumes the Hotel Management Agreement. A claims process was approved on July 24, 2026, with a bar date of September 23, 2026. China Evergrande Group and ANJI (BVI) Limited, whose aggregate unsecured advances are approximately CAD $47 million, hold more than 99% of the unsecured claims.

Court approved the transaction and the vesting of the purchased assets in MB Resort GP Ltd., as general partner of MB Resort LP, under a July 16, 2026 purchase agreement, vesting to occur on issuance and delivery of the Receiver's Certificate.
Further claims-process relief granted the same day as the vesting order, governing the filing and determination of creditor claims against the two debtors ahead of the September 23, 2026 bar date.
