Gander Automated Car Wash

Gander Automated Car Wash has been under the hand of BDO Canada Limited as receiver since February 13, 2019, following an appointment by its lender under subsection 245(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act; the receiver took possession on February 20, 2019. The Business Development Bank of Canada holds the principal secured claim, stated at $545,957, supported by a general security agreement dated August 23, 2013 over all present and after-acquired personal property, registered under the Newfoundland and Labrador PPSA as No. 11302767 on August 26, 2013, and a collateral mortgage over the real property at 50 Armstrong Boulevard, Gander (Document No. 803). The Canada Revenue Agency, the Town of Gander and Workplace NL are also listed as holding security on the property. Four other creditors are scheduled, led by CBDC Gander at $117,948, with the Bank of Montreal at $9,800, the Royal Bank of Canada at $8,000 and Maritime Car Wash Sales & Service at $4,000. The proceedings remain active.
