OverviewSummary updated

Crown Crest Group of Companies has been under court protection since November 9, 2023, when an initial order was granted in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice under file CV-23-00709183-00CL. The proceeding remains active. Peoples Trust Company is the principal source of secured financing to the Crown Crest Financial, Crown Crest Funding, Crown Crest Capital Management and Simply Green debtors, holding three warehouse loan agreements and secured debenture facilities, general security agreements registered in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta and through local agents in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, and concurrent lease agreements over specified consumer rental agreement portfolios. Osler and local counsel opinions confirm that security as valid, enforceable and perfected. Combined PTC indebtedness was approximately $261.7 million as at December 6, 2025, aggregating the pre-filing loan agreement balance, the post-filing DIP facility and acknowledged debt under the CLA Release Agreement.

Each row is one filing's statement, copied as it reads and never computed. "Estimated" is the officer's forecast; "Under the plan" is the plan's or proposal's own term; "Final" is a declared or paid distribution; a row with no chip states no footing. A range is the two numbers stated; "of proven claims" is the document's own denominator.
