Chill X Trans Inc. is subject to bankruptcy proceedings. Royal Bank of Canada and its subsidiary RCAP Leasing Inc. hold a General Security Agreement dated July 10, 2023 covering all present and after-acquired personal property, registered under the Ontario PPSA, securing a $1,800,000 revolving demand facility, a $700,000 revolving lease line, a Master Lease Agreement, and separate lease and conditional sale agreements. Per a Demand Letter and BIA Notice dated January 24, 2024, the debtor owed RBC and RCAP a combined $2,422,345.07 as of January 23, 2024, exclusive of legal fees, disbursements and accruing interest. The obligations are guaranteed by Fozia Javed and Shahid Tariq up to $600,000. A group of equipment and vehicle financiers, including Evolution Capital Corporation, Coast Capital Equipment Finance, Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada Leasing, Wells Fargo Equipment Finance, De Lage Landen Financial Services Canada and Bank of Montreal, hold PPSA registrations that rank ahead of RBC's all-collateral security only with respect to the specific equipment and vehicles they cover.
