Chair-Tech Inc. has been in court-appointed receivership since November 14, 2016, when the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) acted on the application of HSBC Bank Canada under section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act, appointing BDO Canada Limited receiver and manager under file CV-16-11531-00CL. The receiver puts the company's estimated property, per its books and records, at $4,273,230, comprising cash of $53,373, accounts receivable of $1,524,800, inventory of $1,233,959, prepaids and other deposits of $117,129, investments of $1,111,765 and capital assets of $232,204.
