CFNDRS Inc., formerly known as Design Cofounders Inc. and before that Tailored UX Inc., was placed into court-appointed receivership in proceedings commenced March 2, 2018 in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice under section 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and provincial Judicature Act authority. The receivership followed a demand by Royal Bank of Canada, which on November 7, 2017 called the full amount outstanding of CAD 458,313.32, together with unpaid accrued interest and legal and other costs that were not quantified. The bank's position rests on a General Security Agreement dated June 25, 2015, a Visa Agreement dated June 24, 2015, a Confirmation of Credit Facilities Letter dated March 3, 2016, and a Master Lease Agreement dated May 19, 2016.
