Centre de vacances et d'apprentissage Loisirs de Saint-Cyprien has been under a court-appointed receivership in the Superior Court of Québec (bankruptcy and insolvency division), file 250-11-002496-253, since 30 July 2025. The application followed defaults under all three facilities owed to Caisse d'économie solidaire Desjardins, which reported an outstanding balance of $3,448,808.32 in capital and interest as of 2 July 2025, subject to adjustment, comprising $1,377,764.48 on loan PR-3, $1,943,161.77 on PR-2 and $127,882.07 on PR-5. Hypothecary and section 244 notices were served on 8 April 2025, after an earlier notice on 20 June 2024. The Société d'Habitation du Québec, described as the only other secured creditor, consented to the application. The receiver's Form 87 lists other creditors including the Municipalité de Saint-Cyprien at $323,885.77 and Lussier Cabinet d'Assurances at $45,904.72. The proceeding remains active.
