Aluminart Products Limited, Arcor Windows & Doors Inc. and N.A.P. Windows & Doors Ltd. have been in court-appointed receivership since March 29, 2021, under BIA s. 243 and provincial Judicature Act authority, before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in file CV-21-00657729-00CL. The proceeding remains active. Royal Bank of Canada, described in the First Report as the companies' general secured creditor, holds a general security interest over all of their property, assets and undertakings, excluding the BDC Assets and three leased Mercedes-Benz vehicles; the borrowing base calculation showed a loan balance of $5,168,043 as at December 31, 2020. Business Development Canada holds security in the excluded BDC Assets, and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada Corporation is the assignee lessor of the excluded vehicles. Aluminart reported total aged payables of $1,243,111 as at December 31, 2020.
