Advantage Machine & Tool Inc. has been in court-appointed receivership since July 24, 2025, under BIA s. 243 and provincial Judicature Act authority; the proceeding remains active. Canada Revenue Agency claims deemed-trust payroll source deduction arrears of $2,007,607 as at April 25, 2025, said to rank ahead of the company's secured debt, and assessed income tax arrears totalling $1,507,181.09 on April 17, 2024. The Ontario Ministry of Finance issued a writ of seizure and sale for $81,661.26 on April 11, 2025. Serialized machine-tool financiers, a factoring registrant and the vendor of the business hold further PPSA registrations.
