260 High Park Limited Partnership, together with TRAC Developments Inc. and 2486357 Ontario Inc., has been in court-appointed receivership under BIA s. 243 since May 27, 2024, before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in file CV-24-00718667-00CL. Meridian Credit Union Limited, first-ranking on a March 6, 2020 mortgage over the Mortgaged Lands with registered principal of $50,000,000, had issued a demand letter and notice of intention to enforce security on November 16, 2023 for indebtedness of $40,794,919.76 as at November 14, 2023, put at approximately $42,252,410.97 as at April 9, 2024 and guaranteed jointly and severally by Michael Giamou and Chris Giamou. Behind Meridian sit the Fiera and postponed Westmount mortgages. Thirteen construction lien claimants hold fifteen liens registered against the lands totalling $8,670,283.96, against which the Receiver's preliminary analysis estimates a maximum aggregate statutory holdback claim of $1,512,876.56. The proceeding remains active, with an order dated January 27, 2026.

260 High Park: Meridian asks for the church wall lawsuit as EY seeks discharge
Ernst & Young Inc. asks to be discharged as receiver of the partially built church-conversion condominium it sold for $35,430,000, with Meridian Credit Union still owed $11,870,806.80, $7,157,407.40 of lien claims left with nothing to attach to, and the debtors' $15,000,000 subrogated suit against two engineering firms to be assigned to Meridian if the court approves on September 15.
