2301402 Ontario Limited and Jake's House Community Residences have been in court-appointed receivership since May 14, 2025, under s. 243 of the BIA and provincial Judicature Act authority. The proceeding arises from three MarshallZehr Group Inc. facilities secured by first, second and third charges over the real property at 133, 135, 139, 141 and 143 Main St., Lucan. As of January 28, 2025, the MZ 307 loan stood at approximately $11,004,806 and the MZ 308 loan at approximately $5,139,839.02; the MZ 306 balance is recorded as $22,123,416 in one place and $22,123,146 in another. Jake's House Community Residences guaranteed all three loans under general security agreements dated February 7, 2022. The Receiver reported Township of Lucan Biddulph tax arrears of $120,193.32 as of August 7, 2025. Bank of Montreal holds a blanket PPSA registration against 2301402.
