211 Ivy Inc. has been under court-appointed receivership in Ontario since July 9, 2018, when the Ontario Superior Court of Justice appointed MNP Ltd. as receiver on the application of First National Financial GP Corporation, under section 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act. The proceeding carries court file number 18-767770 and remains active. As of the date the receiver took possession, secured claims against the company included $827,095 owed to Accredited Home Lenders Canada, $97,255 to Olympia Trust Company, $69,000 to Gordon Gibbons and $1 to the City of Ottawa POA Collections Unit. The receiver's statement also listed other creditors, among them Michel Dube at $370,000, Julia Dawn Thomas at $1 and Seth David Freedman at $1.
